As a Python Developer Intern you will:
- Design, develop, and deploy RESTful microservices using FastAPI or Django REST Framework, adhering to OpenAPI 3.0 specifications.
- Build responsive front-end interfaces with React 18, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, ensuring WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters hosted in AWS EKS, implementing Helm charts for reproducible releases.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, integrating SonarCloud static analysis, OWASP dependency scanning, and automated canary deployments.
- Develop and fine-tune machine-learning models using scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch, then serve them via TorchServe or Triton Inference Server behind feature-flagged endpoints.
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and contract tests targeting >90 % code coverage with pytest and Playwright.
- Collaborate in two-week Scrum sprints, participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives facilitated by Infosys senior architects.
- Document architecture decisions in Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and maintain runbooks in Confluence for operational handover.
- Monitor application health through Prometheus/Grafana dashboards and configure alerting policies aligned with SLOs of 99.9 % availability.
- Present a capstone demo to a review panel of Infosys practice leads, incorporating feedback into a production-ready GitHub repository.

The program runs 100 % online with synchronous mentorship sessions scheduled across IST, GMT, and EST time zones. Participants receive a dedicated cloud sandbox, access to Infosys Lex learning pathways, and a stipend of ₹15,000 per month upon satisfactory sprint delivery. High performers earn a verified Infosys Springboard credential, priority consideration for full-time Graduate Engineer Trainee roles, and direct referral to Infosys talent acquisition partners.

Selection process: (1) Online aptitude and coding assessment on HackerRank (Python, SQL, DSA). (2) Technical interview focusing on system design fundamentals and a live coding exercise. (3) Behavioral interview evaluating collaboration, learning agility, and alignment with Infosys values. Results communicated within ten business days of the final round.
