Manager – Research Capability Building | Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Manager – Research Capability Building to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This senior-level leadership role is central to advancing the organization's research infrastructure, fostering a culture of evidence-based practice, and building sustainable research capacity across all healthcare facilities within the group. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive research development programs that align with Fakeeh Care Group's strategic vision for clinical excellence and academic advancement.

As the Manager – Research Capability Building, you will lead the development of institutional research frameworks, establish standardized research protocols, and create training curricula aimed at empowering healthcare professionals to engage in high-quality clinical and translational research. You will work closely with medical directors, department heads, clinical staff, and academic partners to identify research gaps, prioritize research initiatives, and ensure that all research activities comply with national and international ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Your core responsibilities will include developing and executing a multi-year research capability building strategy that encompasses mentorship programs, research methodology workshops, grant writing support, and publication guidance. You will be expected to build collaborative relationships with universities, research institutions, and funding bodies to secure research partnerships and external funding opportunities. Additionally, you will oversee the establishment of research committees, institutional review boards, and data management systems that support robust and reproducible research outcomes.

The role demands a deep understanding of healthcare research ecosystems, including familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, Institutional Review Board (IRB) processes, biostatistics, epidemiology, and health services research methodologies. You will be tasked with monitoring research output metrics, tracking publication rates, measuring the impact of research initiatives, and presenting regular progress reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Strong project management skills, exceptional communication abilities in English, and proficiency in research data analysis tools are essential.
