Subcontract Manager Commercial Head - Jubail Eastern Saudi Arabia

KBR Inc. is currently hiring a Subcontract Manager (Commercial Head) to join their team based in Jubail, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This senior-level position plays a critical role in overseeing all subcontracting activities across major projects, ensuring commercial integrity, risk mitigation, and alignment with corporate objectives. The successful candidate will lead the commercial management of subcontracts from pre-award through closeout, acting as the primary interface between project teams, legal departments, and external vendors.

The Subcontract Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing subcontracting strategies that support project delivery timelines while maintaining compliance with local regulations and international standards. Key duties include negotiating complex agreements, managing change orders, resolving contractual disputes, and ensuring cost control throughout the lifecycle of each subcontract. The role demands strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to mentor junior staff and coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in subcontract management within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure sectors. Professional certifications such as CPCM, CFCM, or equivalent are highly desirable. Proficiency in FIDIC, NEC, and other international contract frameworks is essential. Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are considered an asset.
