Role Introduction
The Senior Director will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our client portfolio in banking, fintech, asset management, and regulatory compliance, and leading a high-performing team of consultants. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the financial services division, targeting a minimum 20% year-on-year revenue increase by leveraging insights from the London Employment Monitor and market intelligence.
Lead end-to-end client acquisition and retention efforts, focusing on Tier 1 investment banks, fintech scale-ups, and regulatory bodies, with a goal of securing at least 10 new strategic accounts annually.
Oversee the delivery of executive search mandates for C-suite and Director-level roles in technology, operations, risk, and compliance, ensuring placement success rates exceed 85%.
Mentor and manage a team of 15+ recruitment consultants, conducting weekly performance reviews using KPIs such as time-to-fill, candidate quality scores, and client satisfaction metrics (target: 90%+ NPS).
Collaborate with global Morgan McKinley offices to facilitate cross-border talent mobility, particularly for roles in regulatory delivery and data reporting where demand has surged.
Analyze quarterly labor market data—including vacancy trends, salary benchmarks, and skills gaps—to inform go-to-market strategies and service offerings, with formal reports delivered to senior leadership every quarter.
Represent Morgan McKinley at industry events, conferences, and webinars, enhancing brand visibility and thought leadership in financial services talent solutions.
Implement digital recruitment tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Bullhorn) to streamline candidate sourcing, pipeline management, and compliance tracking across all engagements.
Ensure all hiring practices adhere to FCA regulations, GDPR, and internal DEI standards, maintaining a diverse candidate slate of at least 40% underrepresented groups for senior mandates.
Drive innovation in service delivery by piloting AI-driven sourcing platforms and skills assessment tools, reducing average time-to-hire for specialist roles by 15% within the first 12 months.

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience: 10+ years in financial services recruitment, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level capacity managing P&L, teams, and strategic growth.
Demonstrated success in executive search and contract recruitment within capital markets, fintech, asset management, or regulatory compliance sectors.
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving or exceeding annual revenue targets of £2M+.
Deep network of relationships with hiring managers, HR leaders, and C-suite executives across London’s financial services ecosystem.
