Role Overview

You will take ownership of end-to-end recruitment campaigns for technology roles spanning software engineering, DevOps, data science, cybersecurity, product management, and UX/UI design. Working closely with hiring managers and HR leadership at client organisations, you will design inclusive job specifications, implement structured interview frameworks, and leverage data-driven sourcing strategies to deliver outstanding hiring outcomes. Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment for 15–25 concurrent technology roles, from initial briefing through to offer negotiation and onboarding support, maintaining a average time-to-fill of under 35 days.
Develop and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, HackerRank, and specialist tech job boards to build diverse candidate pipelines with a minimum of 40% underrepresented talent.
Partner with client hiring managers to create detailed role profiles, competency-based interview scorecards, and structured assessment processes that reduce unconscious bias and improve hiring quality.
Conduct comprehensive salary benchmarking using data from Hays, Robert Half, Radford, and proprietary SR2 market intelligence to provide clients with accurate compensation guidance aligned to 2026 South West tech market conditions.
Design and deliver candidate experience initiatives that achieve a Net Promoter Score of +60 or higher, ensuring every applicant receives timely, constructive feedback regardless of outcome.
Maintain and optimise recruitment workflows within applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Workable, or Loxo), ensuring accurate data capture, compliance with UK GDPR regulations, and real-time reporting dashboards.
Produce monthly hiring analytics reports covering pipeline conversion rates, source effectiveness, diversity metrics, and retention indicators to inform continuous improvement.
Represent SR2 at regional tech meetups, career fairs, and industry conferences across the South West to strengthen employer brand awareness and expand professional networks.
Mentor junior consultants and recruitment coordinators, conducting weekly one-to-one coaching sessions focused on sourcing techniques, client management, and professional development.
Contribute to SR2's annual Tech For Impact Guide by gathering regional salary data, analysing hiring trends, and authoring actionable insights for the broader tech community.

Technical Skills & Tools

Proficiency with applicant tracking systems: Greenhouse, Workable, Loxo, or Bullhorn
Advanced sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, HireEZ, and Entelo
Familiarity with HRIS platforms: BambooHR, Personnel, or HiBob
Data analysis and reporting using Excel (advanced), Google Sheets, Tableau, or Power BI
Experience with video hiring platforms: HireVue, BrightHire, or ModernLoop
Knowledge of UK employment law, right-to-work verification, and GDPR compliance in recruitment

Requirements

Entry Level: 0–1 year of recruitment or HR experience; degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred; demonstrable passion for technology and people.
Mid-Level: 2–4 years of technology recruitment experience, either in-house or agency; proven track record of filling mid-to-senior engineering roles; strong salary benchmarking capability.
Senior/Staff Level: 5+ years of talent acquisition experience with at least 2 years in a team lead or strategic advisory capacity; experience designing recruitment processes from scratch; established network within the UK tech ecosystem.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at C-suite level.
