Hiring Staffing Manager in Louisville

📍 Louisville, KentuckyFull-timeHybrid🏠 Télétravail📅 11 juin 2026

Description du poste

LGC Hospitality is a 20-year established leader in specialized staffing solutions for the hospitality, events, and food service sectors, operating across Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky. For two decades, we have built long-term partnerships with over 200 local hotels, independent restaurants, banquet halls, and event venues, connecting them with qualified, reliable talent to meet their fluctuating staffing needs. Unlike generic staffing agencies, we prioritize cultural fit and long-term retention for both our clients and candidates, a model that has earned us a 94% client satisfaction rate and 88% candidate retention rate over the past 5 years. We are currently expanding our Louisville recruitment team and seeking a dedicated Staffing Manager to join our growing operations.

The Staffing Manager role is focused on end-to-end recruitment and talent placement for our hospitality client portfolio, with a core mission of reducing client staffing gaps and supporting job seekers in finding stable, fulfilling roles in the local hospitality ecosystem. You will act as the primary point of contact for both client accounts and candidate pools, balancing business needs with candidate expectations to deliver consistent placement results.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
1. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for 15 to 25 open roles per week across hospitality sub-sectors, including server, line cook, sous chef, hotel receptionist, housekeeping supervisor, and event staff positions, with a target placement rate of 92% within 14 days of receiving client requests.
2. Build and maintain a qualified candidate pool of 200+ active hospitality professionals per quarter, using targeted sourcing on LinkedIn, local job boards, and in-person networking events to reduce time-to-hire for high-demand roles.
3. Conduct structured 30-minute qualification interviews for all candidates, assessing technical skills (e.g., food safety certification, POS system experience), soft skills, and cultural alignment with client brand standards, documenting all findings in our Bullhorn ATS.
4. Manage a portfolio of 30 to 40 recurring client accounts, including mid-sized local hotel chains and independent restaurant groups, conducting weekly check-ins to identify upcoming staffing needs and address performance feedback for placed candidates.
5. Resolve urgent staffing gaps and scheduling conflicts for clients within 2 hours during standard business hours, leveraging your candidate pool and on-call talent network to avoid service disruptions for client operations.
6. Perform 30, 60, and 90-day check-ins with all placed candidates to address workplace concerns, ensure role alignment, and maintain a 85% 6-month retention rate for placed staff.
7. Represent LGC Hospitality at 2 to 3 local job fairs, hospitality industry events, and community networking sessions per month to expand brand awareness and grow your candidate pipeline.
8. Meet monthly recruitment and placement KPIs set by the operations leadership team, with a margin of error of less than 5% for quarterly targets, and contribute to team strategy sessions to improve overall recruitment processes.
9. Train new candidates on client brand standards, workplace safety protocols, and role expectations prior to placement, reducing first-week turnover for placed staff by 10% year-over-year.

Our work environment is collaborative and low-pressure, with a flat hierarchy that encourages input from all team members. The Louisville office is located in a central downtown area with easy access to public transit, and we offer a hybrid work model with 2 remote work days per week after your 3-month onboarding period. Our team of 8 recruitment specialists holds weekly informal check-ins and monthly team-building outings, and we prioritize work-life balance with no mandatory weekend shifts except for pre-approved, highly compensated urgent client needs. You will have access to modern recruitment tools, including Bullhorn ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and dedicated client communication platforms, to streamline your daily tasks.

To qualify for this role, you must have 1 to 3 years of professional recruitment experience, preferably within the hospitality, food service, or temporary staffing sectors. You should be proficient in Bullhorn or similar ATS platforms, have advanced skills in LinkedIn Recruiter for passive candidate sourcing, and be comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for tracking placement metrics. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, as you will interact with a diverse range of clients, candidates, and internal stakeholders daily. A valid driver’s license is required for occasional client and candidate site visits, and prior experience working in hospitality roles is a strong plus. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience will be considered.

In addition to a competitive base salary ranging from $45,000 to $55,000 per year depending on experience, we offer a quarterly performance bonus of up to 10% of your annual salary for meeting or exceeding placement KPIs. Our benefits package includes 80% employer-paid health insurance, 15 paid vacation days per year plus 5 additional paid time off days for personal use, and fully paid training for recruitment certifications and hospitality industry standards. We provide a company vehicle for all client and candidate site visits, and offer a clear career progression path: high-performing Staffing Managers are eligible for promotion to Senior Recruitment Specialist or Team Lead within 18 to 24 months, with the opportunity to manage a dedicated client portfolio or lead a recruitment team. We also cover costs for industry networking events and professional development courses to support your long-term career growth.

The hiring process for this role is straightforward and transparent: submit your resume and a brief statement of interest to [email protected] or call 314-259-1870 to speak directly with Jennifer Sukup, our Recruitment Operations Manager. Qualified candidates will be invited to a 30-minute initial phone screen, followed by an in-person or virtual interview that includes a short recruitment role-play scenario to assess your client and candidate interaction skills. Final candidates will meet with our Director of Operations for a final conversation, and we aim to extend offers within 10 days of the final interview. The target start date for this role is within 2 weeks of offer acceptance, with flexibility for candidates who require a longer notice period.
