Hiring Staffing Manager in Louisville

📍 Louisville, Kentucky, Lexington, KentuckyFull-timeHybrid📅 11 juin 2026

Description du poste

LGC Hospitality is a 20-year established national hospitality staffing firm that connects hotels, restaurants, event venues, and resort groups across the U.S. with qualified frontline and management talent, with a dedicated focus on the Kentucky market. Our client portfolio includes iconic local properties including Louisville downtown boutique hotels, Lexington horse country resort groups, Kentucky Derby Festival event venues, and full-service restaurant groups across the Bluegrass region. We've built our reputation on reliable placement, full compliance with Kentucky state labor regulations, and long-term partnerships with both client properties and the professionals we place, with a 92% client retention rate for our Kentucky accounts over the past 5 years. Unlike generic staffing agencies that treat placements as transactional, we invest in career development for the talent we represent and ensure client sites get staff that fits their unique culture and operational needs.

We are expanding our Louisville-based recruitment operations and seeking two experienced Staffing Managers to lead end-to-end recruitment for our core hospitality client portfolio in the Louisville and Lexington markets. This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a track record of exceeding placement targets, and wants to build long-term relationships with both client stakeholders and job seekers in the hospitality space. You will have autonomy to build your own candidate pipeline, develop specialized expertise in niche hospitality segments, and contribute to strategic planning for our Kentucky market growth.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
1. Own the full recruitment lifecycle for 12+ core Kentucky hospitality client accounts, including boutique hotels, full-service restaurants, equestrian resort groups, and large-scale event venues, managing 40+ active open roles at any given time, with a target 90% placement rate within 14 days of role opening, reducing client overtime costs by an average of 12% for accounts you manage.
2. Source, screen, and interview 50+ hospitality candidates weekly using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Hiring Platform, and industry-specific job boards, verifying credentials, work authorization, and relevant experience (e.g., Kentucky food handler certification, TIPS alcohol service certification) before submission to clients.
3. Build and maintain relationships with 30+ client hiring managers and operations leaders across Louisville and Lexington, conducting bi-weekly check-ins to understand staffing needs, provide market insights on local talent availability and compensation benchmarks, and adjust strategies to reduce client turnover by 15% year-over-year for your managed accounts.
4. Onboard 10+ new placed hospitality staff per month, coordinating with client operations teams for smooth first-day experiences, and following up with placed staff at 30, 60, and 90 days to address concerns and reduce early turnover, maintaining an 88% 90-day placement retention rate.
5. Manage compliance for all placements, verifying I-9 documentation, right-to-work status, and Kentucky-specific industry requirements to ensure 100% compliance with federal and state labor regulations, with zero compliance violations for your managed roles.
6. Track and report on key recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, placement retention rate, candidate and client satisfaction scores, using BambooHR and Hireology to generate weekly and monthly reports for leadership and client stakeholders.
7. Partner with the marketing team to create targeted recruitment campaigns for hard-to-fill roles, including social media content for TikTok and Instagram Reels targeting Gen Z and millennial hospitality workers, and host 2+ hiring events per quarter in Louisville and Lexington to expand the local candidate pipeline.
8. Manage a team of 2 junior recruitment coordinators, providing coaching and feedback on recruitment best practices to improve team placement rates by 10% annually, and identifying high-performing staff for promotion.

Our work environment and culture are built on support and autonomy, rather than rigid corporate rules. Our Louisville office is located in the downtown business district with easy access to public transit and free on-site parking. We offer flexible scheduling for client site visits and candidate meetups, a mandatory 10-day paid time off policy for all full-time staff, 7 paid company holidays, and 2 additional paid volunteer days per year for local workforce development support. Our team culture is collaborative rather than competitive: we celebrate group placement wins, host monthly team-building events including off-site lunches at local restaurants and hospitality industry networking mixers, and hold annual team retreats at a client resort property. We prioritize diversity and inclusion, with 60% of our current leadership team composed of women and BIPOC employees, and partner with local groups including the Louisville Urban League to provide career pathways for underrepresented hospitality workers.

Ideal candidates for this role will have at least 2 years of experience in hospitality recruitment, general staffing, or HR recruitment, with a proven track record of meeting placement targets. You must have strong interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and job seekers, and experience using recruitment software including LinkedIn Recruiter, BambooHR, or similar ATS platforms. Familiarity with Kentucky labor laws, hospitality certifications (ServSafe, TIPS), and local hospitality operational roles is preferred. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift to accommodate urgent needs (e.g., Kentucky Derby event staffing, holiday restaurant surges), and be able to travel between Louisville and Lexington client sites with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience will be considered.

Technical tools used in this role include LinkedIn Recruiter, BambooHR, Hireology, Indeed Hiring Platform, ServSafe Certification Management System, TIPS Certification Portal, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, TikTok, Instagram Business Suite, and Kentucky labor law compliance tracking tools.

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support your financial and personal well-being. The base salary for this role ranges from $52,000 to $68,000 per year, depending on your level of experience, plus a monthly performance bonus of up to 15% of base salary for meeting placement and retention targets. Our benefits package includes full medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents, with 90% of premium costs covered by LGC Hospitality, so you will pay less than $100 per month for full family coverage. We offer a 401(k) plan with 4% employer match, a $1,500 annual continuing education stipend, and full reimbursement for work-related expenses including mileage and client meals. We also offer flexible scheduling, 2 days of remote work per week after your first 90 days, and clear pathways for career advancement.

Career growth opportunities at LGC Hospitality are robust, with 75% of our current leadership team promoted from within the company. As a Staffing Manager, you will have access to one-on-one mentorship from senior leadership, opportunities to attend national hospitality and HR conferences, and the ability to specialize in a niche hospitality segment (e.g., resort staffing, fine dining recruitment) to build expertise. We offer a formal leadership training program for high-performing staff, with a clear promotion pathway to Senior Staffing Manager within 18 months for consistent top performers.

The hiring process for this role includes a 30-minute initial phone screen with our Talent Acquisition Specialist, a 1-hour virtual interview with the Louisville Recruitment Operations Manager, a 30-minute in-person interview with our Director of Hospitality Recruitment at our downtown Louisville office, and a final reference check. We aim to extend offers within 10 business days of the final interview, with a flexible start date 2-4 weeks from offer acceptance. To apply, send your resume to [email protected] with the subject line "Staffing Manager Application - [Your Full Name]", or call 314-259-1870 to speak with Jennifer Sukup, our Recruitment Lead, about the role. We review applications on a rolling basis and contact qualified candidates within 3 business days of submission. No cover letter is required for initial application, though you are welcome to include one to highlight experience relevant to our Kentucky hospitality client portfolio.
