📍 Louisville, KY, USAFull-timeHybrid📅 11 juin 2026

Description du poste

Context: Actalent Services partners with leading logistics, manufacturing, and distribution firms across the Louisville metropolitan area, a strategic U.S. supply chain hub home to UPS Worldport, major rail networks, and interstate highway corridors that serve 70% of the U.S. population within a 2-day delivery window. Our client, a top-tier industrial parts distributor, is expanding its operational team to support growing order volumes and supplier network optimization efforts.

Role Introduction:
We are hiring a Hybrid Supply Chain Analyst to join the client’s 12-person supply chain team, based in Louisville. This hybrid role requires 3 days per week on-site at the company’s distribution center near the Louisville International Airport, with 2 remote workdays per week to support focused data analysis and reporting tasks. The successful candidate will own end-to-end purchase order workflows while supporting contract negotiation initiatives with domestic and international suppliers, directly contributing to the company’s goal of reducing operational costs by 5% annually while improving on-time delivery rates for B2B clients.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the full purchase order lifecycle from initial request receipt from internal sales teams or external clients, through supplier confirmation, shipment tracking, and final archival, with a target of 98% order accuracy and 24-hour turnaround for standard order processing.
2. Support contract negotiation efforts with raw material and logistics suppliers by analyzing pricing proposals, delivery timelines, penalty clauses, and terms of service, to identify cost-saving opportunities and reduce supplier-related delays by 15% in the first year.
3. Analyze inventory levels, order history, and logistics performance data using Tableau and Power BI to identify bottlenecks in the fulfillment process, and propose data-backed process improvements tracked via monthly KPI reviews.
4. Coordinate with warehouse operations and third-party logistics providers to manage inbound and outbound shipment schedules, ensuring 99% on-time delivery for priority clients and resolving shipment discrepancies within 4 business hours of identification.
5. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the company’s SAP S/4HANA ERP system, including supplier master data, order status updates, and inventory logs, and train new team members on standard data entry and verification procedures.
6. Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to investigate and resolve order errors, delivery delays, or product defects, document root causes, and implement corrective actions to reduce recurring operational incidents by 20% over 12 months.
7. Generate weekly and monthly performance reports for the supply chain leadership team, covering supplier performance, logistics costs, inventory turnover, and order fulfillment metrics, to inform strategic decision-making.

Work Environment & Culture:
The client operates a flat organizational structure that encourages cross-team collaboration and continuous improvement. Team members participate in weekly standups to share process updates and brainstorm solutions to operational challenges, and the company provides full funding for professional certifications including APICS CPIM and Lean Six Sigma training. The on-site office includes free parking, a fully stocked break room with snacks and beverages, and quiet coworking spaces for focused work. The company prioritizes work-life balance with flexible PTO policies, 10 paid public holidays per year, and access to a wellness program that covers 50% of gym membership and mental health consultation costs.

Candidate Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a supply chain operations role, with demonstrated experience managing end-to-end purchase order workflows and resolving order-related disputes with suppliers.
- Prior exposure to supplier contract negotiation, including familiarity with standard logistics and procurement contract clauses, pricing structures, and penalty terms.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with hands-on experience using SAP S/4HANA or Oracle NetSuite preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills, plus experience using business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI) to analyze operational data and generate actionable insights.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with suppliers, internal cross-functional teams, and external clients.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is required.

Benefits & Compensation:
This role offers a base salary between $58,000 and $72,000 per year, adjusted based on relevant experience and technical skills, plus an annual performance bonus of up to 10% of base salary. Full benefits include 80% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and their dependents, a 401(k) retirement plan with 4% employer matching contributions, 15 days of paid time off in the first year of employment, and 10 paid public holidays. The company also offers professional development stipends of $2,000 per year for industry certifications, conferences, or continuing education courses.

Career Growth Opportunities:
This role is designed as a pathway to senior supply chain leadership positions, including Supply Chain Manager, Logistics Optimization Specialist, or Procurement Lead. The company’s structured internal mobility program allows employees to apply for open roles at other U.S. distribution centers, and high-performing analysts are eligible for fast-track promotion to team lead roles within 18 months of hire.

Recruitment Process & Next Steps:
The recruitment process is designed to be completed within 2 weeks of application receipt, and includes three steps: 1) A 30-minute phone screen with Olivia Rivers, our dedicated supply chain recruiter, to discuss your experience and role expectations. 2) A 45-minute technical interview with the client’s Supply Chain Operations Manager to assess your purchase order management and contract negotiation experience. 3) A 30-minute final interview with the Director of Operations to discuss cultural fit and long-term career goals.
