Description du poste
LGC Hospitality is a 20-year established leader in hospitality staffing and recruitment services, with a proven track record of placing thousands of candidates in temporary, permanent, and seasonal roles across the U.S. Midwest, from entry-level housekeeping and line cook positions to hotel general manager and event director roles. We partner with a diverse portfolio of clients including independent hotels, national hospitality chains, convention centers, restaurants, and catering services, with a strong operational footprint in Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky.
We are seeking an experienced Staffing Manager to join our local teams, responsible for end-to-end recruitment delivery, client relationship management, and candidate support across both markets. This hybrid role will split time between our Louisville and Lexington office sites, with regular travel to client worksites to assess staffing needs and support onboarding processes.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
1. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for all open hospitality roles in the target region: from client needs assessment to candidate placement, including job posting on Indeed, LinkedIn, and hospitality-specific platforms, CV screening, interview conduction, reference checks, and offer management. Target: fill 95% of open roles within 7 business days of request.
2. Prospect and retain a portfolio of 50+ active hospitality clients across Louisville and Lexington, identify their seasonal and permanent staffing needs, and propose tailored recruitment solutions to drive 15% annual revenue growth for the local site.
3. Support candidates through their full job search journey: conduct skills assessments, provide career guidance, prepare candidates for client interviews, complete 30-day post-placement follow-up checks, and resolve any work-related issues that arise, to maintain a 90%+ candidate satisfaction rate measured via quarterly surveys.
4. Ensure full compliance of all recruitment processes with federal and Kentucky state labor regulations, including equal opportunity employment rules, work eligibility verification requirements, and hospitality sector overtime guidelines, while maintaining up-to-date, compliant candidate and client records.
5. Train and mentor 2-3 junior recruitment hires on company processes, interview best practices, and hospitality sector specifics, to increase overall team productivity by 20% within 12 months of employment.
6. Analyze core recruitment metrics including role fill rate, candidate retention rate, revenue per client, and cost per hire using BambooHR and Google Sheets, to identify process improvements and implement changes to reduce cost per hire by 10% in the first year.
7. Represent LGC Hospitality at local job fairs, hospitality industry events, and targeted community outreach initiatives to boost brand awareness, grow the local candidate pipeline by 25% annually, and strengthen our reputation as a fair, reliable staffing partner.
8. Collaborate with the payroll team to resolve candidate pay, hours worked, and benefits issues, to reduce payroll processing errors by 10% within 12 months.
Our work environment prioritizes transparency, mutual respect, and professional growth. Our Louisville and Lexington teams are made up of 8-10 experienced recruitment and operations staff who collaborate closely, share industry insights during weekly knowledge-sharing sessions, and support each other through high-volume recruitment periods. We celebrate team wins quarterly with performance bonuses and public recognition, offer flexible scheduling to accommodate client site visits and candidate interviews outside standard 9am-5pm hours, and provide access to a wellness stipend for gym memberships or mental health services. We have no hidden fees for clients, no misrepresented role details for candidates, and a clear, consistent feedback process for all parties we work with.
To qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in recruitment, staffing management, or human resources, with at least 1 year of experience serving hospitality sector clients strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in core recruitment tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Hiring Platform, BambooHR, and Google Workspace; experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a strong plus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust with both C-suite hospitality clients and entry-level job seekers from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong project management skills: ability to manage 20+ open roles and 10+ client accounts simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and resolve unexpected staffing issues proactively.
- Working knowledge of Kentucky state labor laws, or a demonstrated ability to learn complex regulatory requirements quickly.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for regular travel between Louisville, Lexington, and client worksites (average 30-40% of work time spent off-site).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience demonstrated via a track record of successful recruitment placements.
We offer a competitive total rewards package designed to support your financial wellbeing, health, and long-term career goals:
- Base salary of $50,000 to $65,000 per year, adjusted based on years of relevant experience and interview performance.
- Uncapped commission structure: earn up to 15% of your annual base salary in performance bonuses tied to client revenue generated and candidate retention rates.
- 80% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents, with no waiting period for coverage to begin.
- 15 days of paid time off (PTO) per year, plus 10 paid sick days, 3 paid personal days, and paid time off for all federal holidays.
- After 6 months of employment, eligibility for 2 days of remote work per week, with full flexibility to adjust your schedule for client needs.
- Company-provided vehicle for all business-related travel, plus reimbursement for mileage for personal vehicle use if you opt to use your own car.
- Annual professional development budget of $1,500 per employee, to cover SHRM certification courses, hospitality industry training, or leadership development programs.
- Quarterly team building events, annual company retreat, and access to a wellness stipend for gym memberships, mental health services, or fitness equipment.
This role is designed as a long-term career path, not a temporary position. LGC Hospitality has grown 20% year-over-year for the past 3 years, with new client accounts and expansion into adjacent markets across the Southeast. 70% of our senior leadership team was promoted from within the company, starting in entry-level recruitment or operations roles. Potential progression paths include Senior Staffing Manager, Regional Recruitment Manager overseeing 3+ Midwest sites, Director of Client Success, or Director of Operations for the Louisville and Lexington markets.
The hiring process is structured to be transparent and efficient. If your background aligns with our requirements, Jennifer Sukup, Recruitment Lead for the Louisville and Lexington markets, will reach out to you within 5 business days of receiving your application to schedule an initial phone screen.
