📍 Louisville, KY, USAFull-timeHybrid📅 11 juin 2026
Description du poste
Actalent is a global talent solutions firm that partners with mid-sized and large manufacturing, consumer goods, and logistics organizations across the U.S., with a dedicated local footprint supporting 30+ clients in the Greater Louisville area across industrial, food and beverage, and automotive supply chain operations. We are currently sourcing a full-time hybrid Supply Chain Analyst for one of our top-tier manufacturing clients operating a 400,000 sq ft distribution and light assembly facility in the southwest Louisville corridor, supporting end-to-end operations for a national consumer packaged goods (CPG) brand with $2.1B in annual revenue.
In this role, you will serve as a key operational support partner for the client’s supply chain leadership team, driving data-backed improvements to inventory management, order fulfillment, freight efficiency, and cross-functional process alignment. Your day-to-day work will directly impact the site’s ability to meet customer delivery commitments, reduce operational waste, and hit annual cost-saving targets.
Key measurable responsibilities for this role include:
1. Conduct weekly demand forecasting analysis for 12 SKU families, leveraging historical sales data, seasonal trend projections, and promotional calendar inputs to maintain forecast accuracy within 5% of actual monthly demand, reducing excess inventory carrying costs by an estimated 8% annually.
2. Monitor and report on end-to-end order fulfillment metrics including on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery rates, warehouse pick accuracy, and transit times, generating automated dashboards in Power BI for cross-functional leadership reviews twice weekly.
3. Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to resolve supply chain disruptions, including supplier delays, transportation bottlenecks, and raw material shortages, implementing corrective action plans that reduce average disruption resolution time by 15% within the first 6 months of tenure.
4. Analyze inbound and outbound freight spend across 25+ carrier partners, identify cost-saving opportunities, and negotiate rate adjustments that deliver annual freight savings of $75,000 to $120,000 for the client site.
5. Maintain and update the client’s ERP system (SAP S/4HANA) supply chain module, ensuring accurate inventory records, purchase order tracking, and goods receipt documentation with 99.8% data accuracy compliance for monthly financial close processes.
6. Lead monthly cross-functional supply chain review meetings with stakeholders from sales, operations, and finance, presenting performance insights, root cause analyses of metric variances, and actionable improvement plans aligned with annual operational goals.
7. Support the rollout of a new warehouse management system (WMS) implementation scheduled for Q4 2024, including user acceptance testing, training material development for 50+ warehouse staff, and post-launch troubleshooting for the first 90 days of go-live.
8. Track and report on sustainability metrics for the client’s supply chain operations, including carbon emissions from freight, packaging waste reduction progress, and circular supply chain initiative milestones, supporting the client’s 2027 net-zero operational target.
Work environment & culture:
This role operates on a hybrid schedule: 3 days per week on-site at the Louisville facility for cross-functional collaboration, production floor check-ins, and meeting attendance, with 2 remote work days for data analysis, reporting, and administrative tasks. The client’s operations team prioritizes a collaborative, low-ego work culture with a flat reporting structure: you will report directly to the Director of Supply Chain Operations, with regular check-ins with the plant manager and procurement lead. The site has a 92% employee retention rate for supply chain roles, with team members citing flexible scheduling, transparent leadership, and opportunities to contribute to high-impact operational projects as top reasons for staying. On-site amenities include a subsidized cafeteria, on-site fitness center, and covered parking for all hybrid employees.
