Hiring Hospitality Staffing Manager in Louisville
📍 Louisville, KY, Lexington, KYFull-timeHybrid📅 11 juin 2026
Description du poste
LGC Hospitality is a 20-year established leader in specialized hospitality staffing, serving hotels, full-service restaurants, event venues, senior care facilities, and catering operations across Kentucky and the broader Midwest. Unlike high-volume, low-touch staffing agencies that prioritize speed over fit, we build long-term partnerships with both our client partners and the hospitality professionals we place, a focus that has earned us a 92% client retention rate and 88% candidate rehire rate over the past 5 years. We are currently expanding our recruitment team and are hiring two experienced Hospitality Staffing Managers, with one role based in our Louisville office and one in our Lexington office.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end recruitment and placement process for 12-15 core hospitality client accounts, managing 40-60 active open roles at any given time. You won’t just be processing applications—you’ll work directly with client operations managers to refine role requirements, source qualified talent, conduct structured interviews, and support 30-day post-placement onboarding to ensure long-term success for both the candidate and the client. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role for recruiters who want to move beyond generic high-volume staffing and build meaningful, long-term relationships in the local hospitality ecosystem.
Your core measurable responsibilities will include:
1. Managing the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned client accounts, with a target 95% placement success rate within 14 days of a role opening, and 90% placement retention at the 90-day mark.
2. Sourcing and vetting qualified hospitality talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, industry-specific job boards, local network referrals, and our existing candidate database of 12,000+ pre-vetted hospitality professionals, with a goal of reducing time-to-fill for entry-level roles by 20% year-over-year.
3. Conducting structured candidate interviews to assess technical hospitality skills (including food safety certification, hotel front desk operations, event setup experience) and soft skills aligned to client team cultures, maintaining a 90% candidate satisfaction score for the interview process.
4. Partnering with client operations managers to refine job descriptions, define role success criteria, and address onboarding gaps for new hires, reducing 90-day turnover for placed candidates by 15% annually.
5. Managing full compliance for all placed candidates, verifying work eligibility, coordinating background checks per client and state requirements, and ensuring all placements adhere to Kentucky labor laws, FLSA guidelines, and OSHA hospitality safety standards, with a target of 0 compliance violations annually.
6. Maintaining and updating candidate records in our BambooHR applicant tracking system, tracking candidate status, skill sets, availability, and placement history to reduce redundant sourcing efforts by 25%.
7. Hosting 2 quarterly local hiring events in Louisville and Lexington, partnering with local culinary schools, hospitality training programs, and veteran transition programs to expand our talent pool by 10% annually.
8. Generating weekly recruitment performance reports for client partners and internal leadership, tracking key metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, placement retention, and candidate satisfaction, to identify and implement process improvements.
9. Resolving placement-related issues within 24 hours, including schedule conflicts, pay discrepancies, or candidate performance concerns, to maintain strong client and candidate relationships.
10. Mentoring 1-2 junior recruitment coordinators on hospitality sourcing and client communication best practices, supporting team-wide skill development.
Our work environment is built to support both productivity and work-life balance. Our Louisville and Lexington offices are open, collaborative spaces with dedicated quiet work areas for focused candidate outreach, and we offer flexible scheduling for client meetings and local hiring events. Our standard work week is 40 hours, with no mandatory overtime outside of pre-agreed peak hospitality seasons (March-May, September-November), where eligible overtime is paid at 1.5x your base rate. Our team is tight-knit, with regular team lunches, quarterly outings, and an open-door policy for feedback—leadership holds monthly all-team meetings to share performance updates and gather input on process changes. We also maintain a pet-friendly office policy, so you are welcome to bring your well-behaved dog to work if that aligns with your preferences.
We are looking for candidates with 3+ years of experience in hospitality staffing, general recruitment, or HR operations, with a proven track record of filling roles quickly without sacrificing quality. You should have deep familiarity with the Kentucky hospitality market, including knowledge of local culinary programs, hotel chains, and restaurant groups operating in the Louisville and Lexington metro areas. You must be comfortable using applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and basic CRM tools to manage your workload, and have strong written and verbal communication skills to engage both busy client operations managers and entry-level hospitality candidates. You should also be comfortable navigating compliance requirements for staffing, including work verification, background check processes, and state labor regulations. Bonus points if you have experience working with senior care hospitality roles or event staffing clients.
The technical tools you will use regularly in this role include LinkedIn Recruiter, BambooHR, Bullhorn ATS (training provided if you have no prior experience), Microsoft Office Suite (with regular use of Excel for performance reporting), Google Workspace, background check platforms including Checkr and Sterling, and Kentucky labor law compliance resources.
We offer a competitive total compensation package designed to reward performance and support your long-term well-being. The base salary for this role ranges from $48,000 to $62,000 per year, depending on your relevant experience, plus a monthly performance bonus of up to 15% of your base salary for hitting placement, retention, and client satisfaction targets. We cover 100% of health, dental, and vision insurance premiums for you and your dependents, with no high-deductible plan requirements. You will receive 10 paid vacation days per year (increasing to 15 after 2 years of tenure), 7 paid sick days annually, 10 paid company holidays, and access to a 401(k) plan with a 4% employer match after 6 months of employment. We also cover 100% of continuing education costs for relevant industry certifications, including SHRM-CP and LinkedIn Recruiter certifications, to support your professional growth.
Career growth is a core priority at LGC Hospitality: 70% of our current leadership team was promoted from within, including our Director of Recruitment who started as a staffing coordinator with the company 6 years ago. In this role, you will have clear pathways to advance to Senior Staffing Manager, Recruitment Team Lead, or Client Success Manager within 2-3 years, based on your performance and career goals. You will also have access to annual leadership development workshops and formal mentorship from our executive leadership team.
If this role aligns with your skills and career goals, please submit your resume and a brief 2-3 sentence note explaining your interest in hospitality staffing to [email protected] by October 31, 2024. Our hiring process includes three straightforward steps: first, a 30-minute initial phone screen with our Recruitment Lead to discuss your experience and career goals; second, a 60-minute in-person (or virtual, if preferred) interview with the hiring manager to walk through a sample client sourcing scenario; third, a 30-minute final interview with our Director of Operations to discuss team fit and long-term career aspirations. We aim to send offer letters to successful candidates within 10 business days of the final interview, with a target start date of November 18, 2024 for both the Louisville and Lexington roles. If you have questions about the role before applying, feel free to reach out to Jennifer Sukup directly at 314-259-1870.
