Hiring Hospitality Staffing Manager in Louisville

📍 Louisville, KY, Lexington, KYFull-timeHybrid📅 11 juin 2026

Description du poste

LGC Associates is a 20-year established hospitality staffing firm headquartered in the Midwest, with a proven track record of placing over 12,000 candidates in hotel, restaurant, and leisure sector roles across Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio since its founding in 2004. We partner with 350+ client locations ranging from boutique 3-star hotels to large 1,200-room convention centers, and hold a 92% employee retention rate for placed staff and a 4.8/5 client satisfaction score, metrics that reflect our focus on matching candidate skills and career goals to client needs rather than filling roles as quickly as possible. We are currently expanding our Kentucky operations and opening 2 new agency locations in 2025, so we are hiring 4 full-time Hospitality Staffing Managers for our Louisville and Lexington offices to support growing client demand and manage end-to-end recruitment cycles for our hospitality client portfolio.

In this role, you will own a dedicated portfolio of 15 to 20 hospitality clients in the Louisville and Lexington metro areas, responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle from initial client needs assessment to 30-day post-placement follow-up. You will not be assigned generic roles: you will specialize in hospitality-specific positions including line cooks, sous chefs, front desk agents, housekeeping staff, event servers, and maintenance technicians, requiring familiarity with industry-specific requirements such as food handler certifications, hospitality safety training, and shift schedule constraints.

Your core responsibilities will include:
1. Managing client relationships to maintain a 95% role fill rate within 72 hours of receiving a vacancy request from your portfolio clients, coordinating directly with client operations managers to align candidate profiles with their specific operational needs.
2. Posting and optimizing job listings on hospitality-specific platforms including Snagajob, Poached, and Indeed Hospitality, as well as LinkedIn Recruiter, to generate a minimum of 50 qualified candidate applications per week for open roles.
3. Conducting 15 to 20 pre-screening interviews per day with candidates, evaluating their hospitality experience, availability, and role fit, with a 90% qualification rate for candidates forwarded to clients.
4. Coordinating new hire onboarding for placed staff, completing compliance verification (employment eligibility, background checks, required certifications) for 100% of candidates before their start date, and conducting follow-up check-ins with both clients and placed staff at 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days post-start to maintain an 88% 6-month retention rate for placed employees.
5. Prospecting new hospitality clients in the region, completing 10 outbound prospecting calls per day and 2 on-site client visits per week, with a target of growing your portfolio revenue by 15% year-over-year.
6. Managing all candidate and client data in our ATS Bullhorn, updating records in real time and generating weekly reports on fill rates, candidate source performance, and client satisfaction metrics for leadership review.
7. Resolving urgent placement issues (candidate no-shows, client staffing gaps, role scope changes) within 2 hours of notification, to minimize operational disruption for our clients.
8. Collaborating with the internal marketing team to create targeted job listings and employer branding content for high-priority client roles, such as seasonal event staffing for the Kentucky Derby and Lexington horse race season.

Our work environment prioritizes autonomy and work-life balance, with no micromanagement: staffing managers set their own schedules between client visits and candidate interviews, with no requirement to answer calls or emails after 6 PM on weekdays, and no weekend work except for rare pre-approved urgent client needs. We offer weekly 30-minute team huddles to share best practices for filling hard-to-staff roles, and no internal competition between team members: managers regularly share candidate pools and client leads to ensure all roles are filled quickly. We also provide quarterly training sessions on hospitality industry trends, advanced recruitment techniques, and Bullhorn ATS optimization, as well as access to industry conferences such as the Hospitality Operations Conference in Louisville.

To qualify for this role, you must have 3 to 5 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or B2B sales, with at least 1 year of experience working with hospitality or service sector clients preferred. You must be proficient in Bullhorn ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and hospitality-focused job platforms, and have strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both client operations teams and entry-level hospitality candidates. A valid US driver’s license and personal vehicle are required for on-site client visits 2 to 3 times per week, and you must be eligible to work in the US with the ability to pass a background check. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required for candidates with demonstrated staffing experience.

We offer a competitive compensation package aligned with Louisville and Lexington market rates: a base salary of $48,000 to $62,000 per year based on experience, plus a 5% to 10% commission on portfolio revenue, with top performers earning a total annual compensation of $75,000 or more. Benefits include 80% employer-paid health insurance for you and your dependents, with full dental and vision coverage, 15 days of paid time off per year plus 10 paid sick days and 5 days of paid leave for family events, a $300 monthly stipend for client-related travel and meal expenses, and an annual $2,000 professional development stipend for certifications such as SHRM-CP or hospitality industry training courses. We also offer clear career progression paths: 70% of our current agency directors were promoted from internal staffing manager roles, and our new 2025 agency openings will create 2 Senior Staffing Manager and 2 Agency Director positions for high-performing team members.

The hiring process for this role is as follows, with a maximum timeline of 10 business days from application to offer:
1. Submit your CV to [email protected] with the subject line "Staffing Manager Application - Louisville/Lexington - [Your Full Name]"; incomplete applications without this subject line will not be reviewed.
2. A 15-minute phone screening with Jennifer Sukup, the recruiting lead for this role, to confirm your experience aligns with the role requirements and discuss your expectations.
3. A 30-minute video interview with the regional operations director to review your technical recruitment skills and experience working with hospitality clients.
4. A 1-hour practical assessment where you will complete a simulation of filling an urgent client staffing request, to evaluate your problem-solving and prioritization skills.
5. A 15-minute final interview with the LGC Associates CEO to confirm alignment with company culture and values.
All candidates will receive a decision via email within 24 hours of the final interview, with a target start date of 2 weeks after offer acceptance for successful applicants.
