Hiring Hybrid Supply Chain Analyst in Louisville
📍 Louisville, KYFull-timeHybrid📅 11 juin 2026
Description du poste
Actalent is a leading national provider of specialized workforce solutions for the supply chain, engineering, information technology, and life sciences sectors, partnering with clients ranging from high-growth startups to Fortune 500 companies across the United States. We have recently established a strategic partnership with a major distribution and logistics player based in the Louisville, Kentucky region, a key North American logistics hub serving clients in retail, food and beverage, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
We are currently recruiting a Hybrid Supply Chain Analyst to join the operational team of this client, based in Louisville with a flexible schedule of 3 days on-site and 2 days remote work per week. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with full-cycle purchase order management expertise and solid contract negotiation experience, looking to contribute to the optimization of logistics flows for a fast-growing business, while benefiting from flexible work arrangements and personalized career support from our specialized recruitment team.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
1. Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders, from initial request from internal teams to final delivery confirmation and payment settlement, ensuring a 95% on-time processing rate for all orders within the 48-hour contractual turnaround time.
2. Actively participate in contract negotiations with raw material and logistics service suppliers, analyzing proposals, identifying potential cost savings, and finalizing contracts that reduce procurement costs by 3-5% annually.
3. Analyze supply chain performance data using BI tools such as Tableau and advanced Excel to identify bottlenecks, recurring delivery delays, and propose prioritized corrective action plans.
4. Collaborate with warehouse, demand planning, and customer service teams to synchronize goods flows, reduce order processing times by 10% over a 12-month period, and improve customer service levels from 97% to 99%.
5. Manage relationships with a portfolio of 20-30 key suppliers, conducting quarterly performance reviews, resolving delivery-related disputes, and implementing continuous improvement plans for suppliers whose performance falls below expectations.
6. Update and maintain data in the SAP ERP system, ensuring the accuracy of stock, order, and supplier contract information, and train new team members on the use of relevant system modules.
7. Participate in supply chain process optimization projects, including the implementation of a new real-time order tracking system, by gathering end-user requirements and testing features prior to deployment.
8. Produce weekly and monthly reports on supply chain performance, cost savings achieved, and identified risks, for operational managers and executive leadership.
The role is based in the client's modern offices in Louisville, located near the region's main logistics hubs, with easy access to public transport and on-site parking for employees. The supply chain team is made up of 12 experienced professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and innovation, where every team member's ideas are considered to improve processes. We encourage continuous learning: dedicated training on ERP tools, negotiation techniques, and data analysis is offered every quarter, and employees can participate in national industry conferences each year. The team also organizes regular informal events (team lunches, after-work gatherings, team building days) to strengthen cohesion and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of professional experience in a supply chain analyst, buyer, or logistics operations role, ideally in a high-volume order sector (distribution, food and beverage, manufacturing). You have full mastery of the purchase order lifecycle and have previously participated in supplier contract negotiations, with the ability to demonstrate cost savings achieved on previous contracts. You are proficient in advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) and have confirmed experience using an ERP system, ideally SAP. You demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, and a keen sense of internal and external customer service. A professional supply chain certification (CSCP, CPSM) is an asset but not mandatory. You are authorized to work in the United States and have professional-level English proficiency, with the ability to write clear reports and lead meetings in English.
Beyond the skills mentioned above, you will use the following tools daily in your role: SAP S/4HANA for order and stock management, Tableau for data analysis and visual reporting, advanced Microsoft Excel for data processing and cost calculations, Jira for tracking internal request tickets and process improvement project management, and Microsoft Teams for collaboration with remote teams during teleworking days. Experience with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) tools is a plus.
This role offers a competitive annual salary between $58,000 and $72,000, depending on the candidate's experience and skills, with an annual performance bonus of up to 10% of annual salary, indexed to the achievement of cost reduction and delivery time improvement objectives. We also offer comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision) with 80% contribution for the employee and their family, a retirement savings plan with a 4% employer contribution of annual salary, 15 days of paid annual leave, plus 10 days of sick and personal leave, and the possibility of taking 5 additional teleworking days per year for personal reasons. All employees also have access to an online training platform dedicated to developing supply chain and negotiation skills.
This role is a springboard to evolve into supply chain management, operations optimization project management, or procurement management positions within the client, or to develop your expertise in supply chain consulting within Actalent. We offer a personalized career development plan from your first day, with quarterly check-ins with your manager and our recruitment team, to identify training and assignments that will help you achieve your professional goals. High-performing employees have the opportunity to lead cross-departmental projects with other client departments, or take on assignments for other Actalent clients in varied sectors.
The recruitment process takes place over 3 steps, with a maximum duration of 2 weeks:
1. A 30-minute initial interview with Olivia Rivers, our supply chain specialized recruiter, to discuss your experience, expectations, and present more details about the role and the company.
2. A 45-minute technical interview with the client's supply chain manager, to assess your skills in order management, contract negotiation, and data analysis, with case studies based on real situations encountered by the team.
3. A final 30-minute interview with the client's operations director, to discuss your fit with the team culture and finalize contract terms.
Once you have completed all interviews, we will get back to you within 48 hours, and if your application is successful, we will send you a job offer within 3 working days. To apply, send your updated CV to [email protected] with the subject line "Application for Supply Chain Analyst - Louisville", and feel free to include a short note explaining why this role aligns with your career goals. We will review all applications received by November 30, 2024, and interviews will take place throughout December 2024 for a start date no later than January 6, 2025.
Note: We are also hiring for an Entry-Level Quality Engineer position in Louisville. If you or someone you know is interested in this role, feel free to reach out to Olivia Rivers for more details.
