Hiring Supply Chain Analyst in Louisville

📍 Louisville, KYFull-timeHybrid📅 11 juin 2026

Description du poste

Our client, a top-tier North American automotive parts manufacturer with $2.3B in annual revenue and operations across 8 production sites, is expanding its logistics optimization team in the Greater Louisville Area. The company recently invested $40M to modernize its supply chain infrastructure across 12 distribution centers serving 1,200+ retail and wholesale clients, and is hiring a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support this transformation, reduce delivery delays by 15% over 18 months, and cut excess raw material inventory by 8% within the first 6 months of employment.

Your core responsibilities will focus on high-impact, measurable tasks aligned with the company’s operational goals:
1. Analyze logistics flow data pulled from SAP ECC and weekly shipping reports to identify bottlenecks in raw material and finished goods delivery, and deliver actionable recommendations to reduce on-time delivery (OTD) delays by 12% in your first quarter.
2. Partner with the procurement team to refine quarterly demand forecasts using Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) planning software, cutting excess raw material stock by 8% across 3 main warehouses within 6 months.
3. Track and report on core logistics KPIs including OTD rate, order fill rate, and cost per unit transported, producing weekly reports for supply chain and operations leadership to support data-driven decision-making.
4. Coordinate with 18 regional and national transport providers to resolve delivery incidents (delays, damage, loss) within 4 business hours of being flagged, to maintain a 98% client satisfaction rate for outbound shipments.
5. Support the rollout of a new warehouse management system (WMS) across the company’s 3 Louisville-area distribution sites, training 25 warehouse operations teams and gathering user feedback to reduce system adoption friction by 30%.
6. Conduct monthly audits of cross-border customs processes for USMCA-regulated shipments from Mexico and Canada, ensuring full compliance with U.S. Customs rules to avoid penalties of up to $15,000 per infraction.
7. Build automated Power BI dashboards to centralize logistics data from all sites, cutting manual reporting time by 70% compared to the legacy Excel-based process currently in use.
8. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to investigate delivery-related client complaints, and implement corrective actions to reduce claims by 10% over 12 months.

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week on-site at the client’s Louisville facility located 10 minutes from downtown, with free on-site parking, a fully stocked kitchen, and a quiet break room. The remaining 2 days per week are fully remote, with no expectation of after-hours communication unless a critical logistics incident occurs. The 12-person supply chain team you will join operates with a flat hierarchy: all team members are encouraged to share process improvement ideas during biweekly feedback sessions, and there are no mandatory meetings without a clear agenda and defined outcome. The company prioritizes work-life balance, with no requirement to answer work messages outside of core business hours (8am-5pm ET).

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following baseline criteria:
- 2+ years of professional experience in supply chain analysis, preferably within manufacturing, automotive, or consumer goods distribution
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VBA, data visualization) and experience with at least one business intelligence tool (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience using SAP ECC, with familiarity with the MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales and Distribution) modules preferred
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate insights into practical operational improvements
- Valid U.S. driver’s license for occasional (once per month maximum) travel to off-site distribution centers
- Professional fluency in English; conversational Spanish is a strong plus for communicating with Mexican-based suppliers

You will be expected to use the following tools on a daily basis: SAP ECC (MM/SD modules), Blue Yonder demand planning software, Power BI, advanced Excel, warehouse management systems (WMS), and USMCA customs compliance guidelines.

This role offers a competitive total rewards package aligned with mid-level supply chain analyst market rates for the Louisville metropolitan area:
- Base annual salary between $58,000 and $72,000, adjusted based on relevant experience and technical skill proficiency
- Annual performance bonus of up to 10% of base salary, tied to individual and team KPIs
- 80% employer-paid health insurance premium for you and your dependents, with optional dental and vision coverage available at a 15% employee discount
- 15 days of paid time off per year, plus 10 paid company holidays and 5 paid volunteer days annually
- Free on-site parking, access to discounted gym memberships, and a $75 monthly meal stipend for on-site work days
- 4% annual employer contribution to your 401(k) retirement plan, with immediate vesting
- $2,000 annual professional development budget, fully covered by the company, to pursue certifications such as CSCP or CLTD

After 2 years of strong performance, you will be eligible to apply for the Warehouse Operations Manager role at one of the company’s Louisville distribution sites, or the Strategic Supply Chain Planner role at the regional headquarters in Indianapolis. The company also offers internal mentorship programs with senior supply chain leaders, and covers 100% of tuition costs for employees pursuing an accredited master’s degree in supply chain management.

The full hiring process takes no more than 3 weeks from application receipt to offer:
1. 30-minute phone screen with Olivia Rivers, your dedicated Actalent recruitment consultant, to confirm your experience aligns with role requirements
2. 45-minute virtual or in-person interview with the Louisville supply chain director to discuss your past projects and technical skills
3. 30-minute final interview with the director of operations to assess cultural fit and long-term career goals
4. Reference checks and background screening within 5 business days of the final interview
To apply, submit your resume along with a 1-page cover letter outlining your most relevant supply chain analysis experience to [email protected]. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the role is filled, with priority given to candidates with automotive manufacturing supply chain experience.
