📍 Phoenix, Arizona, USAFull-timeHybrid📅 11 juin 2026
Description du poste
Phoenix Petroleum USA, Inc. is the North American operational arm of the long-standing Phoenix Petroleum group, with 10 years of presence in the southwestern U.S. energy market. We operate 12 fuel storage depots across Arizona, Nevada and California, serving more than 400 service stations, commercial transport fleets, aviation clients and residential customers, with recent expansion into biofuel distribution and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Our 250-person Phoenix headquarters is the core of our U.S. operations, and we were named one of Arizona’s top 100 energy sector employers in 2023 for our focus on employee training and work-life balance.
We are hiring a Senior Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Phoenix team, responsible for overseeing end-to-end fuel and energy product distribution across our southwestern coverage zone. This is a critical role to ensure supply continuity, full compliance with federal and state regulations, and logistics cost optimization for all our clients. You will work closely with depot teams, carrier partners, regulatory authorities and commercial teams to meet the needs of our 400+ retail points and large enterprise accounts.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
1. Oversee all fuel delivery operations across 12 regional depots, guaranteeing a 98% on-time delivery rate and 100% compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations for all transport routes.
2. Optimize delivery routes using RouteSmart software and real-time traffic data, cutting fleet fuel costs by 12% annually and route-related CO2 emissions by 8% by 2025.
3. Manage relationships with 25 carrier partners and 50 fuel suppliers, negotiating annual contracts to reduce procurement costs by 3% per year without compromising product quality.
4. Supervise stock management across all 12 depots, maintaining an 8x annual inventory turnover rate and a stockout rate below 0.5% across all product lines (gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, biofuel).
5. Ensure full compliance with all federal and state energy product safety regulations, running 4 compliance audits per year and training all depot teams on OSHA and EPA safety standards.
6. Analyze logistics performance data using SAP S/4HANA and Power BI, producing 12 monthly performance reports for leadership that identify improvement areas and potential cost savings.
7. Manage supply disruption and delivery incident response, implementing business continuity plans that reduce delivery interruption time to less than 4 hours in the event of a major operational issue.
8. Coordinate the rollout of 50 new electric vehicle charging stations per year across our retail network, planning power supply and equipment deliveries to meet deployment timelines.
Our Phoenix headquarters operates a hybrid work model: 3 days per week on-site for team meetings and depot operations, 2 days of remote work for administrative and analysis tasks. We prioritize transparency: all employees have access to company performance reports and can participate in quarterly all-hands meetings with executive leadership. We support continuous learning with a $3,000 annual per-employee budget for training, industry certifications and sector conferences, plus a formal mentorship program for employees seeking to move into leadership roles. On-site perks include a free gym, a subsidized cafeteria serving balanced meals, and dedicated quiet workspaces for focused tasks.
To qualify for this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience in energy product logistics or perishable goods supply chain management, with prior experience navigating federal transport regulations. Fluency in written and spoken English is required for communication with U.S. regulatory bodies and cross-functional teams; Spanish proficiency is a strong plus for working with our Spanish-speaking carrier workforce. You must be able to work under pressure during supply disruption scenarios, with strong negotiation skills. A Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Transportation Logistics (CTL) certification is considered an asset.
Mandatory technical skills for this role include: advanced proficiency in SAP S/4HANA for stock and order management, expertise in RouteSmart route optimization software, advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros) and Power BI for data analysis, in-depth knowledge of DOT, OSHA and EPA regulations for energy product transport, and familiarity with fuel storage and distribution safety standards.
We offer a competitive base salary between $85,000 and $105,000 per year, adjusted for experience, plus an annual 15% performance bonus tied to team cost reduction targets and on-time delivery metrics. Benefits include 80% employer-paid health insurance for you and your dependents, 20 paid vacation days per year plus 10 paid sick days, a 401(k) retirement plan with 5% employer matching, a company vehicle for on-site depot visits, and full reimbursement for approved training and certification costs up to $3,000 per year.
This role is a clear path to advancement: top performers can move into U.S. regional supply chain leadership or operations director roles. We provide personalized training, with 2 sector-specific training sessions per year for all logistics staff, and opportunities to work on cross-functional renewable energy expansion projects (biofuel distribution, EV charging infrastructure). 30% of our leadership roles are filled internally, and 3 Phoenix-based employees have been promoted to regional leadership positions in the last 2 years.
The recruitment process takes place in 3 stages: initial review of your resume and professional statement, a 30-minute phone interview with the Head of Logistics Operations, and a 1-hour in-person interview with the leadership team including a tour of our Phoenix headquarters and main depot. We respond to all candidates within 10 days of application receipt, and will contact you to schedule interviews within 5 days if your profile matches our requirements. To apply, submit your resume and a brief professional statement outlining your energy logistics experience to [email protected], with the subject line “Application: Senior Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator – Phoenix”.
