Hiring Manufacturing and Warehouse Associate in Phoenix

📍 Phoenix, ArizonaFull-timeOn-site📅 11 juin 2026

Description du poste

CloudRay is a leading North American manufacturer and distributor of industrial laser components, engraving systems, and cutting equipment, serving clients across the United States, Canada, and Mexico from our 12,000-square-foot operational hub in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 2015, we have grown 40% year-over-year over the past three years, driven by rising demand for precision laser solutions in the automotive, aerospace, and signage manufacturing sectors. To support this sustained growth, we are expanding our local operations team and hiring dependable manufacturing and warehouse associates to join our on-site crew in Phoenix.

This full-time, on-site role is designed for professionals who prioritize safety, reliability, and efficiency in fast-paced industrial environments. You will be part of a close-knit team of 20 operations staff, with no micro-management and clear, measurable performance targets to help you track your progress and grow with the company. We offer fixed, predictable schedules with no mandatory weekend work, and prioritize internal promotions for all leadership openings.

Your core day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Receiving and verifying incoming shipments of laser components, mechanical parts, and consumables: cross-reference delivery notes against purchase orders, flag quantity discrepancies or damaged goods within 24 hours of receipt, and record all received items in our SAP ERP system to maintain a 99% minimum inventory accuracy rate.
2. Picking, packing, and shipping customer orders: select items according to digital pick lists, package products per international shipping safety standards for orders across 30+ countries, scan each item to update our Warehouse Management System (WMS) in real time, and hit a target of 120 error-free orders prepared per 8-hour shift.
3. Managing on-site inventory storage: organize stock by risk category (Class 4 laser components, heavy mechanical parts, low-value consumables) in dedicated shelving units, update stock location records in the WMS after every movement, and conduct weekly cycle counts to maintain a 99.5% inventory accuracy rate.
4. Supporting light manufacturing operations: assemble laser sub-assemblies per provided work instructions, use calibrated hand tools (torque wrenches, precision screwdrivers) and basic testing equipment to verify assembly conformity, and document each production step in our Jira production tracking system.
5. Maintaining workplace safety and cleanliness: adhere to all protocols for handling metal parts, electronic components, and cutting tools, report potential hazards to the safety lead within 30 minutes of identification, and complete daily cleaning tasks for workstations and warehouse traffic zones.
6. Contributing to operational process improvements: propose ideas to reduce order picking time or optimize stock placement, and test new storage methods during quarterly warehouse optimization projects led by the operations manager.

Our Phoenix warehouse is fully climate-controlled, with ergonomic workstations and all required personal protective equipment (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves) provided free of charge to all staff. We offer two fixed shift options: morning (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) or afternoon (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM), each with a 30-minute paid break and 15-minute unpaid break. Overtime is optional and paid at 1.5x your regular hourly rate, with no mandatory weekend work outside of scheduled quarterly inventory counts, for which staff receive a $150 bonus per day attended. Our culture is built on transparency: we hold monthly team meetings where all staff can share feedback on processes, and we adjust workflows based on employee input to reduce unnecessary administrative burden.

We do not require prior warehouse or manufacturing experience for this role, but we do require that you are able to lift loads of up to 25kg (55lbs) regularly, stand for full 8-hour shifts, and read and write English at a functional level to understand safety instructions and order documentation. Ideal candidates are punctual, detail-oriented, and prioritize safety above speed. Prior experience in industrial parts warehousing or light electronics assembly is a strong plus, but not mandatory. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Key technical skills for this role include proficiency with barcode scanning systems, basic hand tool operation, and familiarity with ERP or warehouse management software (we provide full training on our SAP and WMS systems for new hires). Knowledge of OSHA safety standards for industrial warehousing is a plus.

This role offers an hourly wage between $18 and $22 USD, depending on your prior experience and performance during the 90-day probation period. All full-time staff receive 40 guaranteed hours per week, with overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours worked in a single week. Benefits include 10 days of paid time off per year after your first 90 days of employment, 5 paid sick days per year, 70% employer-paid health insurance coverage after 3 months of tenure, and free access to all internal training programs on laser equipment operation, warehouse best practices, and safety compliance. We also offer a $100 monthly transportation stipend for staff who commute to the Phoenix site.

CloudRay prioritizes internal promotion for all leadership and technical roles. Associates who demonstrate strong performance and reliability after 12 to 18 months are eligible for promotion to Team Lead (with a minimum 15% salary increase) or Warehouse Supervisor, with full company support for relevant certification courses. High-performing associates may also transition to Laser Technician roles, with full training provided on our proprietary equipment at no cost to you.

Our hiring process is straightforward and designed to respect your time:
1. Submit your CV and a short note explaining your interest in the role to [email protected] with the subject line "Manufacturing/Warehouse Associate Candidacy – Phoenix".
2. Our HR team will review your application within 3 business days and send you a confirmation email acknowledging receipt.
3. If your profile matches our requirements, you will be invited to a 15-minute phone screening with an HR representative to confirm your availability and answer initial questions.
4. Successful candidates will be invited to a 30-minute on-site interview with the Operations Manager, including a brief tour of the warehouse to meet the team.
5. Final offers are extended within 2 business days of the on-site interview, with start dates scheduled within 2 weeks of offer acceptance. Interviews are available Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM by appointment only.
