Hiring Manufacturing & Warehouse Operations Associate in Phoenix
📍 Phoenix, ArizonaFull-timeOn-Site📅 11 juin 2026
Description du poste
CloudRay is a fast-growing national provider of precision manufacturing and logistics solutions, serving clients across aerospace, industrial equipment, and consumer goods sectors. Our 120,000 sq ft Phoenix facility is a core hub for our western U.S. operations, handling end-to-end component production, inventory management, and order fulfillment for commercial and industrial clients. We’ve grown 30% year-over-year in the past two years, and we’re expanding our local operations team to support increased client demand and new precision component product line launches scheduled for Q4 2024.
We’re hiring 12 full-time Manufacturing and Warehouse Operations Associates to join our day, swing, and limited weekend shift teams at our Phoenix facility. This role is ideal for candidates who take pride in safe, efficient work, want stable long-term employment with a growing company, and are interested in building a career in manufacturing or logistics without requiring a four-year degree. Unlike temporary warehouse roles, this is a permanent position with full benefits, clear advancement paths, and consistent scheduled shifts.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
1. Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move raw materials, finished goods, and client inventory across the facility, adhering to all load capacity and safety protocols to reduce product damage by at least 15% per quarter.
2. Conduct end-of-shift inventory counts and cycle counts for high-value components, logging discrepancies in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to maintain 98%+ inventory accuracy across all storage zones.
3. Assemble and package precision industrial components per client work orders, performing visual quality control checks on 100% of outbound shipments to reduce client return rates by 10% annually.
4. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area, completing 5S workplace organization tasks at the start and end of each shift to reduce slip, trip, and fall incidents by 20% year-over-year.
5. Load and unload inbound and outbound freight trucks, verifying shipment contents against packing slips to ensure 100% order accuracy for all outbound client deliveries.
6. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying process bottlenecks in the assembly and fulfillment workflow, submitting at least one actionable improvement suggestion per month to the operations leadership team.
7. Operate basic production equipment including CNC machine loaders, label printers, and shrink wrap stations, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to meet daily production targets of 95% or higher.
8. Complete all required OSHA and company-mandated safety training, reporting any unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions, or near-miss incidents to supervisors immediately to maintain a zero-incident work environment.
Our Phoenix facility operates with a collaborative, team-first culture where no one is left to figure out tasks alone. All new hires complete a 2-week paid onboarding program with hands-on training from experienced team leads, and we pair new associates with a dedicated mentor for their first 90 days on the job. We prioritize work-life balance where possible: day shifts run 7am-3:30pm, swing shifts 3pm-11:30pm, with limited weekend shifts available for team members who prefer higher pay rates. Our break room is stocked with free snacks and coffee, we host quarterly team lunches, and we recognize top performers monthly with bonuses and public recognition. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and discrimination, and 60% of our operations leadership team was promoted from within the warehouse and manufacturing ranks, so we prioritize internal growth over external hires for all open roles.
We are looking for reliable, safety-focused candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or GED equivalent (or be willing to complete a GED program within 6 months of hire, with full support from our tuition reimbursement program)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand/walk for 8-hour shifts, and perform repetitive motions as required for assembly and material handling tasks
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math skills to count inventory, measure components, and complete production logs
- Prior experience operating forklifts, working in a warehouse, or assembling industrial components is a plus, but not required for entry-level candidates
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English to follow safety protocols and collaborate with cross-functional team members
Our team uses the following tools in daily operations, and we provide full paid training on all systems for new hires: Warehouse Management System (WMS) for inventory tracking, SAP for supply chain and production planning, Jira for process improvement tracking and cross-team collaboration, OSHA-compliant safety equipment and forklift operation tools, and basic Google Workspace software for shift reporting and documentation.
We offer competitive compensation and benefits that reflect the value of our team members’ work:
- Starting pay ranges from $18.50 to $22.50 per hour, depending on shift, prior experience, and forklift certification status. Swing and weekend shift workers receive a $1.50 per hour shift differential, plus a 10% bonus for all team members who meet monthly production and safety targets.
- Full benefits package available on day 1 of employment for all full-time team members, including medical, dental, and vision insurance with 90% of premium costs covered by CloudRay for employees and 50% for dependents
- 401(k) retirement plan with 4% company match, vested immediately upon hire
- 10 paid vacation days, 8 paid sick days, and 12 paid company holidays per year, with additional vacation time added for each year of service
- Tuition reimbursement of up to $5,250 per year for courses related to manufacturing, logistics, or business management
- Free on-site forklift certification training for all eligible team members, with a $500 bonus for maintaining a perfect safety record for 12 consecutive months
- Employee referral bonus of $1,000 for every qualified candidate you refer who is hired and completes their 90-day probation period
Career growth is a core priority for CloudRay: 60% of our site operations managers, 40% of our logistics coordinators, and 30% of our maintenance technicians were hired into entry-level warehouse or manufacturing roles at our company. Associates who excel in this role can advance to roles including Senior Warehouse Operations Associate (with a 10-15% pay increase), Inventory Control Specialist, Production Team Lead, Logistics Coordinator, Maintenance Technician (with support for our vocational training partnership), or Site Operations Manager. We offer free cross-training opportunities in inventory management, production planning, and quality control to help team members build skills for advancement, and our leadership team holds monthly open forums where team members can ask questions, share feedback, and learn about open internal roles.
Our hiring process for this role is fast and transparent, with no unnecessary steps:
1. Submit your resume via our LinkedIn application link or by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Manufacturing Warehouse Associate Application – [Your Full Name]"
2. Our hiring team will review your application within 3 business days and reach out to schedule a 15-minute phone screening if your background matches our requirements
3. Selected candidates will be invited to an on-site facility tour and 30-minute interview with the operations manager and a team lead
4. Final candidates will be contacted within 24 hours of their interview with a formal job offer, pending successful background check and drug screening
5. New hires will start within 1-2 weeks of offer acceptance, with a paid 2-week onboarding and training period before joining regular shift teams.
We are actively reviewing applications on a rolling basis and will close this posting once all 12 positions are filled, so we encourage interested candidates to apply as soon as possible.
