Hiring Manufacturing & Warehouse Operations Associate in Phoenix

📍 Phoenix, ArizonaFull-timeOn-Site📅 11 juin 2026

Description du poste

CloudRay is a U.S.-based industrial manufacturer and distributor that has operated its 120,000-square-foot Phoenix production and distribution facility since 2017, serving clients in the aerospace, renewable energy, and commercial construction sectors across the Southwest U.S., northern Mexico, and western Canada. The facility houses 12 CNC machining lines, 3 assembly stations, and a 40,000-square-foot climate-controlled warehouse for raw materials and finished goods, and we prioritize local Phoenix hiring, with 72% of our 85-person operations team residing within 20 miles of the facility. Our 2023 safety record placed us in the top 10% of Arizona manufacturing facilities for lost-time injury rates, a priority we maintain through mandatory pre-shift safety huddles and quarterly safety training for all team members.

We are expanding our 24/7 production and warehouse operations team to support growing client demand, and are hiring 12 full-time Manufacturing & Warehouse Operations Associates to fill day (7am-5pm), swing (3pm-1am), and limited night (11pm-9am) shifts across our Phoenix facility. This role is ideal for candidates who prefer hands-on, structured work with clear, measurable performance targets, opportunities to learn specialized manufacturing and logistics processes, and a clear path to advance into lead, supervisor, or specialized technical roles within 12-18 months for high-performing team members.

Your core responsibilities will include:
1. Operating and monitoring high-speed CNC machining and assembly lines to produce precision industrial components, adhering to production schedules that target 95% on-time output per shift while maintaining quality defect rates below 0.8% per batch.
2. Performing end-of-line quality control inspections for manufactured parts using calibrated measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, and basic CMM operation) to flag defects, document findings in our quality management system, and rerun non-compliant batches per lean manufacturing protocols.
3. Managing inbound and outbound warehouse inventory for raw materials and finished goods, using SAP S/4HANA and handheld Honeywell barcode scanners to log 50+ inbound shipments and 40+ outbound client orders per shift with 99.5% inventory accuracy.
4. Safely operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes to move materials weighing up to 2,000 lbs across the facility, completing all required pre-operation safety checks and adhering to OSHA material handling guidelines at all times.
5. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area by completing end-of-shift 5S organization tasks, disposing of production waste per environmental protocols, and reporting any facility hazards to the safety lead within 15 minutes of identification.
6. Supporting cross-functional team initiatives including quarterly inventory audits, new product line setup, and process improvement projects, contributing at least 2 actionable improvement suggestions per quarter as part of our continuous improvement program.
7. Completing all required shift documentation including production logs, safety checklists, and quality reports, submitting all paperwork to team leads within 10 minutes of shift end to ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
8. Training new hires on core warehouse and production processes after 90 days of tenure, demonstrating mastery of all required safety and operational protocols to earn a $0.50 per hour permanent training stipend.

Our work environment is designed to prioritize safety, collaboration, and work-life balance: our Phoenix facility is temperature-controlled, with dedicated break areas with free snacks and coffee, on-site free parking for all staff, and a safety team that conducts 10-minute daily pre-shift huddles to review hazards and performance goals. We maintain a no-blame culture where team members are encouraged to flag process issues without fear of retaliation, and host monthly team lunches and quarterly safety bonus events for teams that meet their quality and safety targets. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and discrimination, and 78% of our frontline management team was promoted from within our operations ranks, so you will not be stuck in a dead-end role if you perform consistently and follow safety protocols.

To qualify for this role, you must be at least 18 years old, able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a 10-hour shift, stand for up to 4 hours at a time, and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Candidates with prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, current forklift certification, or basic SAP experience are preferred, but we will provide all required on-the-job training for entry-level candidates who demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to safety. You must be able to communicate clearly in English to follow safety protocols and team instructions, and basic math skills to read measurement tools and inventory logs are required. No prior experience with CNC machining or specialized quality control tools is required, as we provide 40 hours of paid onboarding training for all new hires.

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support long-term employment with CloudRay. The starting hourly wage for this role ranges from $18.50 to $21.50 per hour, depending on prior experience and shift timing, with swing and night shifts including a $1.50 per hour shift differential. All full-time team members receive medical, dental, and vision insurance starting on day 1 of employment, with 80% of premium costs covered by CloudRay for employees and 50% for dependents. We also offer a 401(k) plan with a 4% company match after 6 months of tenure, 10 paid vacation days per year (increasing to 15 after 2 years of employment), 8 paid sick days per year, 6 paid company holidays, and a $150 monthly attendance bonus for team members with perfect attendance and no safety incidents. We provide all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at no cost to you, paid forklift certification training for eligible candidates, and tuition reimbursement of up to $5,000 per year for employees pursuing degrees in industrial technology, supply chain management, or related fields.

CloudRay has a clear internal promotion path for operations team members: after 6 months of strong performance and completion of required safety training, you can apply for Lead Associate roles with a $2 per hour pay increase and additional leadership responsibilities. After 12 months in a Lead Associate role or 18 months as a standard associate with consistent high performance, you can apply for Shift Supervisor roles with a $4 per hour pay increase and full management benefits eligibility. We also have specialized technical roles in quality control, maintenance, and supply chain coordination that pay up to $28 per hour, with all internal candidates given priority over external applicants. Our HR team holds quarterly career development check-ins with all operations team members to discuss professional goals and identify training opportunities to support your growth.

Our hiring process consists of three straightforward steps, with an aim to extend offers to successful candidates within 2 weeks of application submission:
1. Submit your resume via our LinkedIn application link or email to [email protected] by November 30, 2024.
2. Our HR team will review all applications and contact qualified candidates within 3 business days to schedule a 30-minute initial phone screen to discuss your experience, availability, and interest in the role.
3. Selected candidates will be invited to an on-site facility tour and 1-hour skills assessment at our Phoenix location, followed by a 30-minute final interview with the operations manager.
Start dates are available for December 9, 2024 and January 6, 2025, and we are flexible with start dates for candidates with prior commitments. If you have questions about the role, requirements, or application process, you can reach our HR team directly at [email protected] or call our Phoenix facility at (602) 555-2847 between 9am and 5pm MST Monday through Friday.
