📍 Phoenix, AZ, USAFull-timeOn-site📅 11 juin 2026

Description du poste

Wise Staffing Group is a national, family-owned staffing firm with 18 years of experience connecting businesses across the US with qualified temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct placement talent. Our Phoenix metro office serves over 200 active clients across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare support, and professional services sectors, from small local businesses to enterprise-level operations, and we are expanding our sales team to support growing client demand in the region.

We are hiring an Area Sales Manager for our Phoenix, AZ territory to lead end-to-end business development for our staffing services. This role is ideal for experienced B2B sales professionals with a background in staffing, recruiting, or HR services who thrive in autonomous, target-driven environments and want to build long-term client relationships while earning uncapped commission. The role offers a competitive base salary of up to $115,000 annually, adjusted based on your years of relevant sales experience and prior staffing industry tenure, with weekly uncapped commission payments that have pushed top performers' total on-target earnings to more than $180,000 per year in recent quarters.

Your core responsibilities will include:
1. Prospecting and acquiring 8-12 new business accounts per quarter across the Phoenix metro, targeting small to mid-sized businesses in manufacturing, logistics, healthcare support, and professional services sectors that have unmet staffing needs.
2. Managing a portfolio of 30-50 existing clients, conducting quarterly business reviews to identify additional service needs, and upselling temp-to-hire, direct placement, and payroll services to increase per-account revenue by at least 15% year-over-year.
3. Collaborating closely with the local recruitment team to align client job requirements with available candidate pools, ensuring a 92%+ fill rate for open positions within 48 hours of client request, reducing client time-to-hire by an average of 30% compared to national staffing industry benchmarks.
4. Developing and executing territory-specific sales strategies, including targeted outreach campaigns, local chamber of commerce networking events, and industry trade show participation, to increase Wise Staffing Group’s brand awareness in the Phoenix market.
5. Negotiating service agreements and pricing structures with clients, ensuring contract terms align with company margin targets while remaining competitive in the local staffing market.
6. Tracking all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline data in our Salesforce CRM, updating records weekly, and submitting monthly sales forecasts to the regional sales director with 95% accuracy.
7. Resolving client service escalations related to placed candidates, working cross-functionally with recruitment and operations teams to address concerns and maintain client satisfaction scores of 4.2/5 or higher.
8. Monitoring local market trends and competitor activity in the Phoenix staffing space, providing quarterly insights to the leadership team to refine service offerings and go-to-market strategies.

Our Phoenix office culture prioritizes autonomy and support for our sales team: you will not face micromanagement of daily activities, and will have flexible scheduling to accommodate client meetings and local networking events. You’ll work alongside a team of 12 local recruitment and operations staff, with regular team building events and access to mentorship from senior sales leaders with 10+ years of staffing industry experience. We also provide a shared collaborative workspace in downtown Phoenix, with private meeting rooms available for client calls and interviews.

To qualify for this role, you will need:
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the staffing, recruiting, or HR services industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual sales quotas.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to visit client sites across the Phoenix metro, as 60% of the role involves in-person client meetings.
- Strong proficiency in CRM platforms, specifically Salesforce, with experience using sales enablement tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Outreach.io a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with business owners, HR managers, and operations leaders.
- Ability to work independently, manage a full sales pipeline, and prioritize tasks to meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required for candidates with equivalent professional sales experience.

You will use the following tools in your day-to-day work:
- Salesforce CRM for pipeline and client relationship management

- 401(k) retirement plan with a 4% company match, regardless of employee contribution.
- 15 days of paid time off per year, plus 10 paid company holidays and 5 days of paid volunteer time off annually to support local Phoenix community organizations.
- A $500 monthly car allowance to cover travel, fuel, and client meeting expenses.
- A $2,000 annual professional development stipend to cover sales training, industry certifications, conference attendance, or other career growth resources.
- Access to our sales incentive program, which includes quarterly cash bonuses for top performers and annual all-expenses-paid trips for the highest-grossing sales team members.
