📍 Phoenix, AZFull-timeHybrid📅 11 juin 2026
Description du poste
Wise Staffing Group is a fast-growing American staffing and HR solutions provider operating across 12 U.S. states, supporting more than 2,500 business clients ranging from small local enterprises to large national corporations in sectors including logistics, retail, healthcare and professional services. With a 30% year-over-year growth rate over the past three years, the company is expanding its commercial teams in key markets, including Phoenix, Arizona, where we are currently hiring an Area Sales Manager to lead our local commercial development.
As Area Sales Manager for the Phoenix market, you will be responsible for driving the commercial growth of our local operations, managing client relationships and leading a team of junior sales executives as the market scales. You will report directly to the Regional Sales Director for the Southwest, and work closely with the local recruitment team of 12 specialists to align commercial offers with candidate availability and client needs.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing a targeted prospecting strategy for the Phoenix territory, with a target of acquiring 8 to 12 new business clients per quarter, prioritizing logistics, retail and professional services players that represent 70% of local demand for temporary and permanent staffing solutions.
- Managing a portfolio of 40 to 50 existing clients, conducting weekly follow-up meetings to identify evolving recruitment needs, and achieving a minimum client retention rate of 92% over the course of the year.
- Negotiating and closing staffing service contracts, with a quarterly revenue target of $450,000 for the Phoenix territory, and ensuring all contracts comply with Arizona state and federal labor regulations.
- Collaborating with the internal recruitment team to transmit client needs within 24 hours of contract signature, and monitoring candidate presentation satisfaction scores, with a target of 4.5/5 or higher from clients.
- Representing Wise Staffing Group at a minimum of 2 local professional events per month (job fairs, local business network meetups, industry conferences) to boost brand visibility and generate new commercial leads.
- Analyzing weekly commercial performance data via Salesforce, identifying bottlenecks in the sales funnel, and adjusting prospecting and client retention strategies to meet quarterly targets.
- Training and onboarding new junior sales executives hired for the Phoenix market, with a target of 2 fully autonomous new hires trained per semester, and providing ongoing coaching to the local sales team.
- Ensuring all sales processes, contracts and client interactions comply with U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations and Arizona state staffing laws, to avoid legal risks for the company.
You will work in a hybrid work environment, with 2 days of remote work per week allowed once you have reached your quarterly targets for the first time, and the rest of the time based in our Phoenix office located in the downtown area, with free on-site parking and access to a shared coworking space for client meetings. The local team of 5 sales executives operates in a collaborative, low-bureaucracy culture, with monthly team afterworks, quarterly team building events and a flat hierarchy where all team members can share feedback directly with management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B services sales, preferably in the staffing, recruitment or HR services sector.
- Proven experience using Salesforce for sales pipeline management and performance tracking.
- A valid U.S. driver’s license and personal vehicle for client visits across the Phoenix metropolitan area.
- Native or bilingual English proficiency, with excellent written and verbal communication skills for client negotiations and internal team alignment.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and adjust commercial strategies accordingly.
- Knowledge of the Phoenix local job market and staffing regulations is a strong plus.
You will have access to industry-standard sales tools including Salesforce, ZoomInfo for prospect research, LinkedIn Sales Navigator for B2B prospecting, and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
The compensation package for this role is highly competitive, with a base annual salary of $115,000, adjusted based on your years of experience and place of residence within the Phoenix metropolitan area. In addition to the base salary, you will benefit from uncapped weekly commissions paid every Friday, directly tied to the revenue you generate. Our benefits package includes 80% employer-paid health insurance coverage for you and your dependents, 15 days of paid annual leave plus 10 days of paid sick leave per year, a 401(k) retirement plan with 4% employer matching, an annual $2,000 professional development budget to attend sales training or industry conferences, and a company vehicle provided after 6 months of tenure if you meet your performance targets.
